Current Information:Age-42 247, Knightsbridge Captain Palmer of 20th Rifle Brigade died at sea from unknown causes on 26th November, 1915 whist travelling on the Steam Ship Appam from the UK to West Africa. In 1915, 20th Rifle Brigade had been employed on guard duty in the UK but the following year they went to Egypt as garrison troops. |
